Scripture Reading…Colossians 1:1-29
We have reached the end of our Connection Challenge journey. I pray that it has been a blessing to your life. I pray that some new and healthy habits have been started in your life that you will continue on way beyond May 31st. My prayer for all of you today is the same as Paul’s for the Colossian church. “…may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
Paul’s prayer for the Colossians church shows us a few really important things. (1) God fills his church with spiritual wisdom and understanding. (2) Understanding his will that comes with the wisdom helps us live a life that is pleasing to him. (3) Understanding all of that also leads to more knowledge and more fruitfulness in the Kingdom of God.
The church was God’s plan. The church is where he makes so many things known. The church is worth our commitment. The church is worth our giving all we can to it. Remember, the church is not a building, it is not four walls here or anywhere else it is US…all of us coming together praising God, working to build the kingdom, and love others the way Christ loved us.

o Lap 1 – Pray for walls of division to fall…pray for unity.
o Lap 2 – Pray for any walls the enemy is trying to build around our youth to fall.
o Lap 3 – Pray for walls of fear to fall.
o Lap 4 – Pray for walls of complacency to fall.
o Lap 5 – Pray for walls of sin to be demolished in your life.
o Lap 6 – Pray for walls that have been built up around your family to fall.
o Lap 7 – Pray for God to bring in a harvest of believers to Beltline.
