connection challenge

Welcome to the Connection Challenge!!!  It is going to be a great 31 days!!!  Let me just tell you up front that our purpose in this challenge is two-fold.  First, we (Trae & Steve) want to help strengthen your connection to God and your brothers and sisters in Christ AND second, to strengthen each part of you…body, mind, and soul!  In order to help accomplish that goal there will be three things for you to do each day as part of this challenge for the next 30 days…

  1. Scripture Reading

  2. Devotion

  3. A Daily Challenge

Each week will have a different connection theme…

May 1-7                                   Connecting to God

May 8-14                                 Connecting to Family

May 15-21                               Connecting to Others

May 22-28                               Connecting to the Word

May 29-31                               Connecting to the Church

There is no wrong way to take on this Connection Challenge.  You can do it solo, you can do it with another person (a spouse, a child, a best friend, etc), or you can do it with a group.  YOU CHOOSE!!!!  Our prayer is that however you choose to do this challenge you will commit the next 30 days to it and watch what God does in your life.

I (Steve) want to encourage you as we get started, to write down some things that are on your heart right now.  Write down some of the struggles you might have, difficulties you are facing, prayer you would love to have answered, sins you might be struggling with, etc.  Then at the end of these thirty days, go back to that list and see what God has done as you have committed this challenge to him for thirty days.  I think you will be amazed at the hand of God at work in your life.

One more thing…we know that it is possible that you may miss a day along the way.  If that happens to be you, just pick back up the next day, or if you really want, double up and get back on track…whatever you do DON’T GIVE UP!
